I’ve spent 8 years exploring watercolor painting, learning not just what works, but how to make the process simpler, more enjoyable, and less overwhelming.
When I first wanted to paint the little, everyday things around me, I wanted them to feel whimsical, vibrant and full of joy. I wanted to capture the warmth of sunlight, the vibrancy of nature & the little magic hidden in everyday moments.
But I didn’t know how.
My colors often turned muddy & my paintings felt dull and the joyful, glowing still life I imagined in my head rarely made it onto paper.
Over the years, through plenty of trial and error, I developed a simple, systematic approach to bringing light, vibrancy & that juicy, whimsical quality to my paintings.
